Event watch: Groovin’ the Moo

I’m sure most of you have heard of Groovin’ the Moo, which is a music festival held in Townsville every year. GTM 2013 will be taking place this Sunday, 5th of May at the Murray Sports Complex and it is perfect for all you study abroad students who want to experience some live Aussie music and party Aussie style.

If you have already gotten your tickets to GTM and you’re trying to plan your day, below is a link where you can find set times:

Most of you would have heard of the bigger bands such as The Temper Trap, Example, Yolanda Be Cool, The Kooks, Tegan & Sara and They Might Be Giants but there are some really good indie acts that will be performing as well. Matt & Kim serve up some funky synthpop and will be sure to put you in a dancing mood. Scottish indie rock band Frightened Rabbit have some decent hits as well and let’s not forget Alison Wonderland and her therapeutic mixes.

If you haven’t gotten your tickets, all I have to say is; what are you waiting for!? GTM 2013 promises to be a day of fun and will definitely be an unforgettable experience.

Also as a gentle reminder, party safe and be responsible!
