Carolyn Reimann: Wallaman Falls

For my last post, I wanted to share with you the first place I had ever camped in Australia. It was my first real adventure here, and it has stuck with me as being one of the most magical places I will ever see.

Wallaman Falls.

You can camp here, remember to book online*

The hike down to the falls isn’t too strenuous, and I’ve seen little kids do it. But bring a book, food, something because you will spend hours just sitting on a boulder and gazing up at the falls. Remember to bring a flashlight in case you are like me and stay until the stars come out.

It is 2 hours outside of Townsville. Go to Ingham then an hour West.

You won’t regret it!

Thank you all for letting me share my adventures with you this year. I hope it has inspired you to chase adventures not only in Far North Queensland but everywhere that you go 🙂

Adventure is out there!
